Hey guys I know this is kinda not exactly the right forum for this, but I figure you guys are pretty smart so why not ask....

anyways so my band moved into a new Jam space on monday, only problem is it's an older bulding and the room only has one plug, so we plug in our power condisioners and find out we only have about a 108 volts max from this plug, thats with the lights off and everything, and it's starting to look kinda difficult to wire a new cerret into the room, so now my Guitar player is looking at buying a Furman AC line Voltage regulator, does anyone know wether this will actually fix the problem?

thanks

No-one smart enough in the house today Harp.

I'd love to help, but can't. Hang in there, someone with the knowledge will come through for you.....

If I understand you correctly, you are running everything off of one circuit -- probably a 15 amp circuit. If this is the case, a power conditioner will not fix the problem, you need more current. Either wire a new 15 amp circuit for your bass, or pay someone to do it.

One other thing, make sure the outlet(s) into which your equipment is plugged has a proper working ground! Never plug a device designed with a ground wire (any new guitar/bass amp) into a non-grounded outlet!!
