I know these guitars are night and day, but I'm just taken by both of them!

Normally I'd just buy both, honestly. But seeing as I have a new car on order scheduled for delivery at the end of November, I probably shouldn't go crazy right now. :)

So I'll likely keep it down to one.

There's honestly nothing I don't like about the Axis with the standard trem.

The Y2D, unfortuantely, only has Floyd or nothing (I respect BP's wishes to keep it to artist spec). So I'd probably get the hardtail as I'm not a big trem user at all.

What do you guys thing, what would you go for all things being equal? :)

give Pete a ring and see if he's got what u want in stock ... if you feel like mr itchy trigger finger the by all means, pull the damn trigger :)

Tough decision!!!
Good luck with that!
Maybe buy the Axis from Pete now! and put the Y2K on order so you'll have the money by the time it comes in!

 Interesting?????

I have literally been having the same dilemma. Just ask Pete DuBaldo who I told I would order something as soon as I made up my mind. Got to play both at the open house. They are different beasts, but I like both.

I originally went in thinking Y2D but have been leaning toward Rosewood SS 90's and piezo, piezo being a considerable factor.

How about you get one, I'll get the other and then next we can switch? :D

Let's see what the rest of the good folk on the board have to say :)

I agree. You should be financially ok in 3 months time (avg build time).

I have the money now, that's not so much the issue. It's more just a matter of self-control I guess. :D

I still haven't decided...

That's what I meant. Buy one, order the other that way you get both and practice 3 months of self-control. :)

Hahhaha

Ok, I'm still undecided. I need to find some new pictures of De-purple, maybe that'll help me some.

They need to update the MM site with some more pictures, seems like some are outta date.

LOL!!!
EBMM should have a package deal for us heavily addicted freaks!
Buy 3 get one for free or half off or something. Or maybe a boxed set! Or a surprise sampler! Open the box and see which 3 guitars you got!
Any birdseye in there! ;)
