Sure this has been covered numerous times, but I can't find an answer as there is a ton of info to sort though:

What is the body of the Rosewood Axis SS made of? Is it basswood like the other Axes? I understand the top is rosewood, so I am referring to the bulk of the body.

as far as I remember, this is, indeed basswood, with a rosewood top. This is what Dargin said about it :

If I remember correctly we wanted to mess around with different tops and neck woods so I asked Dudley what he thought would be cool and this is what we came up with. We all thought it sounded great. I think it's either a love/hate on it's looks. It's not a big seller as we have about 30 on order currently.

True, but don't forget that Axis SuperSports with MM-90s have ash bodies under the maple top - so the rosewood version with MM-90s would also have an ash body under the rosewood top.

It's an HH, and based on how super light it is, it would be basswood. I was expecting it to be much heavier because of the neck, but EBMM has got to have the most consistent wood supply in the universe.
