Ernie, didn't you notice the retractable legs option? It actually IS a coffee table... :)

Another question Jon - does the rosewood top give it a slightly more subdued tone as compared to a standard axis?

I have not had a chance to A/B it with a regular Axis. There is only the one rosewood guitar, and I don't even know where it is now...Big Poppa had it a couple of days ago.

I wouldn't say "subdued". I would descibe it as warmer and possible fatter. They are different beasts....Jon is right, that neck feels amazing!

OK, one more for youse guys - is it heavier? And I guess I should have asked this first, but is it solid rosewood - ala a George Harrison tele - or is it just a top on basswood?
