Rosewood fingerboards

Does anyone know what year was introduced the first Music Man Stingray with Rosewood fingerboard? The oldest one I saw was a 1980 model with string through body and a 3 bolt neckplate.

I have been known to be wrong, but I think ever since there were MM basses, there were Rosewood fretboards on them... so... first one would be '76 or '77? Could be wrong though.

Fretted Rosewood from c. late 1979 (or early 1980).

Fretless Rosewood from 1976 to c. 1980 before changing to Ebony.

that is why I never found one (fretted) from 76,77 or 78. The oldest one I found is a 1980.
