I had a feeling this was coming. Boy am I glad that I bought mine when I did. To bad I could not have ordered the RW necks when that window was open!

IS there a Ball Family Reserve Rosewood topped Axis SS?....I looked but i didnt see one ...but something in my brain says i saw one with the BFR logo on the 12th fret.....am i Crazy?

Nope, you ain't crazy, they do exist. Essentially the same guitar that is en route to you, with the exception of the 12th fret inlay. Its my understanding that those models did not have the tone block.

and they... the BFR inlayed ones didnt have the toneblock?


and also can u still can order them? or was it just for that window of RW necks on any guitar?

That I don't know for sure, but I don't think you can.
I think the ones that existed were not ordered as "bfr's" per say, they just had the necks on them.

Yah i do beleeb your correct ...it could be that the last ones ordered before the discontinue date just came with the inlay .......maybe?

But whatever....hahahaha Coolbeans on me getting one!!:cool: ....Its the one guitar i wished i had ordered before they shut er down....and now thanx to you ...i do!:D

Thank god I've already got my Rosewood ASS. One of the most unique EBMM guitars I've had the pleasure of owning/playing!

Well since I've already put my money where my mouth is for a Silo Special in a discontinued color I'll probably have to bypass this opportunity.

Of course the little GAS voice in my head says "Rosewood Axis SuperSport with MM90s and a trem - buy! BUY!! BUY!!!":D

I like every EBMM out there, even AL’s. Some took a while to acquire a liking to but I never got in on for the Rosewood top. I’m sad to see any model go, but thats todays market.

it was hahaha like i said i just got my first one from headstock ...and was doin some searching for some more info on the 12 fretted BFR Rosey's ....Just wondering if they were like the last ones ordered or how they got the BFR logo on the 12th fret ,considering they were discontinued....see where im goin foggy baby hehehehe:D

That's what I get for web surfing when I'm not fully awake - missed that this was a resurrection from 12/2008.:eek:

I guess I can blame a week of 4:00 am wake up calls/6:30 am flights.:p
