I got nothing against AL’s, it just took a bit of time for me to fully appreciate their unique looks. Don’t want the ALOC on my back. ;)

Albert said it best "it's a bit whacky" - I love the looks, although somebody did ask my If my Strat got caught in a closing elevator once!

Now a rosewood topped AL , there's a thing..... How come the old thread got dug up then??

Nope, you ain't crazy, they do exist. Essentially the same guitar that is en route to you, with the exception of the 12th fret inlay. Its my understanding that those models did not have the tone block.

Maybe Lenny is crazy anyway.....just not wrong on this one :D

Cool John. And I bet its a natty stock?

Jimmy - no, I decided to go matching on this one since I got the rosewood fingerboard. I saw a JP6 in olive gold with the matching headstock and liked the way it looked over the rosewood board. On other colors I would go natty like candy red or pearl blue.
