This is my second post I believe and my first thread. I've been reading threads on here for ages but never felt the need to post until today.
I'm about to buy my second JP6, I had one earlier this year but it was a standard model. As great as it was, I decided to sell up, wait it out and get something a little more special.
The time has come!
I'm trying to decide between a Roasted Maple BFR (standard body shape, basswood body, piezo, black sugar), Rosewood neck BFR (standard body shape, alder w/mahogany, solid black finish, no piezo), or a JPX.
I don't know much about the JPX, have never played one, and won't be able to until I've paid for it and it arrives... I'm just looking for a bit of comparison in the form of these questions:
What is the difference in feel between the 4 JP Necks, i.e. Roasted, Rosewood, standard and JPX?
What would having no Piezo do to release of the Rosewood neck BFR? It's used and I believe a custom built model for an endorsee, it's not an endorsee that I'm buying from.
Aside from the Aesthetic and the pickup selector, how does the JPX differ from the other JP's?
Any answers here would be amazing, thanks!
