Nah climate won't negatively affect the strings. The material used is similar to the food product industry as well. Non Perishable food like doritos doesnt change quality from 80 degree to 50 degree weather. Same with strings

I'm not sure we are talking about the same thing. I am saying that they never go through subtle changes. They are suddenly exposed to the new conditions.

Just like with ancient artifacts that can lay unchanged for years and then experience a climate change and BAM, they fall apart.

The sealed bag may be couterproductive.

I have more theories when you are interested... LOL

Right on! Glad you are digging the wipes! They were actually designed for meticulous players in mind as they are more useful as a daily maitenence cleaner than a once a year type cleaner.

Ok feel free to email me your theories - [email protected]

Strings and alloys stand up pretty well in cold weather, and warm weather. Annealing is usually at a high temp, and high carbon steel and nickel are pretty wear and weather resistant by nature.

ill let you know how my new set go, its the first set I've re-strung my jp6 with that have had the new sealed pack. :) (only been on there a week.)

Marduke.

Please believe us that air tight packages do not adversely affect the plain strings.

Hendog I am going to close this as the title is unfair from the beginning and we have bent over backwards to tell you good facts. I would sugest that if you feel that the non reinforced ball ends strings are different and better for you then you should save the extra money it costs for the reinforced ball ends and play the regular ones.
