2 fender performer 1000 combos at once=anxious

hi everyone!! first time here.. i am all set.{or so i think} to hook up 2 fender performer 1000 amps together.. i have 4 amps 2 fender performer 1000 combos and 2 roc pro 1000 heads ,, initially i;d like to hook the combos together i have an aby switch {steve b's quote is making me nervous, its an artcessory cool switch} {still in package} however, i just sent out 1 of the performers to be repaired the way the amp sounds now i personally think the tech did wicked awsome,, however he did up grade the power supply{ not sure if that means it is diff from when it was new} i am thinking ,,i should send other performer to him and have him do same work as he has done to first one. do you guys think this matters?? where i want to hook them together and be able to copy settings on each amp,,,example treble 6 on both gain 4 on both volume 4 on both etc,,, not being very techie i assume where he upgraded power supply the 2 amps may not be the same {insync} what do you think,, any info would be highly appreciated.. thanks dave,, Ps i also have a hot rod deville 2x12 {hook em all together for 460 wats of rock&roll} see you in the hearing aid dept..

I would think the power supply upgrade would not have a significant impact on the sound. If you are running both amps at the same time it is nice to have different settings to add depth and complexity

+1
I've been really happy with the Morley Quad Box for running my 2 amps. Plus, I don't have to monkey with my JP6 mag/piezo cables when switching guitars.

dwells, the aby switch sounds like it would work really good for what you're looking for.

the best way is an A/B/Y
i run one right in the middle of my pedal board to isolate a few pedals to my clean channel and then run the rest through to my dirty amp... tone is way big.... sounds incredible!

I used to use a Tonebone Switchbone when I ran my no longer existing setup of a '62 Fender Brown Princeton and a Matamp 1224 MKII. I found straight passive boxes like the Morley had grounding loop issues between the two amps causing some nasty hum. Boxes like the Tonebone or Lehle offer isolation on each side and I had no noise problems at all.

Lehle stuff is amazing but very expensive - I picked up a used Morley ABy switch recently - and I have my amps setup wet/dry like bonamassa, I have a fender hot rod deluxe on one side and a sovtek Mig 50 (MArshall JTM clone) onthe other - and a 2nd ab box to feed a marshall class5!

The 2 amps at the same time through 4x12's is amazing - all that air!

ABY is the way to go, never been more happy with running two amps, great tonal variety and controls.
I had the biggest problem with ground loops and ABY boxes that altered the original too much, or too much loss of signal. All that is solved with my Radial Twin City ABY amp switcher, great pedal and it has a ground lift as well. really work well for me, no problem at gigs yet (knock on wood).
The Lehle is more expensive, but it's the Porsche of ABY boxes. for my needs, the Radial does a fantastic job and doesn't alter the tone.

A-B-Y switcher

this one is gfreat, and it has a buffer/amp to make sure there is no signal loss. Cheap too.
