My ancestry is Russian-Jewish, but my family left during the Bolshevik revolution and I can't read or speak a word of the language- just a bit of Yiddish here and there. My mom (who works in pharmaceuticals) is actually heading the launch of a drug in Russia right now, which is cool for her because she's always wanted to go there. She met with Putin and several other higher ups recently.
