Optimal is whatever makes you smile in between all the way down and wolf notes or other issues because the pickup is too close.

Ears are the judge not a ruler.

My bridge is like this and the neck a fair bit lower.....

I know EBMM is a forward thinking company in terms of instrument development but would a Sabre re-issue ever be a possibility?
