Sabre with 41 mm nut

Hi everyone, I am new here. I recently bought a used Music Man Sabre in blue moonstone off of musician's friend. These guitars are supposed to have a 43 mm nut and this guitar felt a little narrower than my other guitars with 43 mm nuts, so i decided to measure the sabre and came up 41.3. The neck is very comfortable to play and I am not complaining, I'm just wondering if anyone else has come across this or maybe knows why my guitar has a smaller nut than it is supposed to?

Solved, I spoke with someone from ernie ball and it turns out the sabre i have is one of the first ones made after the prototypes. This one just slipped by since it was a new model at the time.
