Sad day...said goodbye to my Axis

I think the problem is this...folks don't read the entire post before they start typing angrily. This was NOT a post about another guitar manufacturer...it was not intended to be about trading a music man guitar for a Suhr. It was about saying...look..this guitar didn't work for me. It was a great guitar but it's not my thing. I know there are a lot of folks who do like this...this is the place where they congregate. Sooooo..with that in mind, how about going to that site and showing folks where they could get a good deal on my old guitar. As far as I was concerned, it was a tough decision to get rid of it..but I did...it was in the exact same condition as it was when I bought it...other than the pickups (which was the other part of this post). Go to this site...you can buy an Axis for a couple hundred bucks less than new...for what is essentially a new guitar.
How in the world is this controversial, not "newsworthy", or irrelevant to this message board. OK...should've changed the title of the thread. Why don't the moderators do that then, if they're so worried that this thread is in the wrong place...and if this board is so restrictive.

I WAS TRYING TO DO YOU PEOPLE A FAVOR!!...and I was trying to compliment the members of this forum. WOW!
I'm done with this thread. I wish it was never started. I could've sold my pickups elsewhere, and this beautiful guitar could sit in the Music Zoo's warehouse unnoticed...at least by these forum members.

Sorry...I just caught this...here's how much I care who's paying attention to me:

first off...you will be back to read this...people that start scrapes never leave until people stop paying attention to them.

Please remove my account from this forum...or tell me where I need to go to get this done. I don't see a way to delete it, so I'm assuming only a moderator can do this. I have no interest in this thread...and at this point, no interest in being a member of this forum anymore.

I won't be back on this thread, so I expect that you can email instructions on how to remove myself, or send a confirmation that my account has been deleted...my email address has not changed since I registered, so you have my information.

Not sure how you got bent out of shape exactly, nobody's slamming you. For the record you were selling something (pickups, which usually go in the FS thread), so it's not all "doing us a favor".

As for deleting your account, that's not something we do here. Hope you continue to post here, but if you don't want to, just don't post.

Sorry but I had to join in, and I'm not normally one to post my opinions on other peoples choices..I agree..not sure why this was posted, this is an Ernie Ball Musicman forum, for EBMM fan's and user's..yes Suhr's look pretty, and I'm sure that the build quality is good...well it wants to be for the prices in the UK!!...I have a few friends who use and endorse them, one of them has his own signature model..but to my mind there is nothing unique about these guitars, they seem to be just expensive version's of either fender or Ibanez..An Axis is an instrument with its own identity and personallity, plus probably the best built, most versatile, most comfortably, and well designed guitar on the market..it has the best neck ever designed..period!!, the best finishes, and attention to detail..out of the box this guitar feel like an old friend, and doesnt need playing in...On top of this it can produce a wide varitey of great tones, andlets not forget the peizo..I would be lost with out that.. I have done countless long tour's, and more session's than I can count using my Musicman guitar's..I've been playing them exclusively since 1997...some may say my comments are predictable because I am signed as an artist, but the reason I am signed as an artist and have 12 Axis style guitars in my collection is because it is the best guitar I have ever played..just to finish my soap box rant, one of my friends, who will remain nameless, who is a Suhr endorsee, recorded his album in my studio...what guitars did he play??...a Suhr?...Nope...about 5 of my Axis guitars, plus my original EBMM EVH model...i think that speaks volumes..sorry if I have offended anyone..not my intention...Just wanted to add my thoughts..I'll shut up now and go and sit in the corner like a naughty boy lol!! jamie Humphries..
