hi guys the last couple of weeks have been a bit up & down for me as i'll explain.
the sad news-
my current rock band Cut 'n' Run has come to an unfortunate end.we have a fantastic drummer-Baz Denton-who is in his early fiffties & an awesomely talented drummer & all round top bloke.unfortunalty Baz has been diagnosed with lung cancer & has had to stop playing, the rest of the band ,myself included, have decided we don't want to replace Baz as he is such a vital part of the unit. so it seams this band is no more.
the good news-
my brother rang me the other day to ask if i could play a party gig for a friend with our old blues band The Growlers.
i played in this band for 10 years until we split up (some members lost intrest).so last thursday we had a rehersal & it was bloody awesome, so The Growlers live again.more gigs to follow whey hey
the broken cherry-
tommorrow night this little beauty
gets her cherry broken at the above gig,at last-can't wait.
so a strange couple of weeks over all,one band ends & another is reborn,musicaly a fair trade.
but my thoughts are with Baz (bless him) for the future & a good recovery,God be with you my friend.
p.s. sorry to ramble but i felt i just had to post this,
