OK here we go

Albert Lee Black Cherry Burst (Piezo Saddles) = 10.5 mm wide
Measurement from centres of trem posts =52.5 mm
Albert Lee Hardtail - original bent steel saddles =11.19 mm wide now replaced by :-
KTS Titanium saddles model PR17 which measure =10.6 mm wide

And a little factoid (cos I watched a documentary today on famous Welshman)- it was a Welshman who "invented" the = sign (and the PYE sign).

I bet you'll sleep easier tonight knowing that lol!

ok a bit weird lol sorry

so the albert lee hardtail sound like they had vintage width saddles which roughly measure around 11.3mm
now that you have the KTS on the the KTS because are narrower should have gaps in between them i assume?

are you sure that the trem posts are that wide?? you measured them from the center of the posts?
the norm is around 54-56
I think i have heard they are around 54

thanks tons man!!!!

really appreciated!

Ok I remeasured the centres of the trem posts on my BCB and I'll give it another Mill.
From centre to centre my calipers say 53.5 mm. ( so that brings it in line with what you heard - say 54mm)

I've just got out my LEAL which has bent saddles installed and they measure 10.6 mm wide and the trem posts center to centre are again 53.5.

Regarding the KTS saddles heres two pics (shot with no flash and it's dark now)

I've pinched the saddles together and it just moves the E strings in a tad
