Hi!

Made it to San Luis Obispo in June but unfortunately didn't get hold of Dan at MM to arrange a tour of the factory due to time constarints and stuff. I am totally gutted. After driving around SLO for a while, we managed to find the address and paid a visit. When we got there, there was no inidication to tell us which building MM was in, therefore, i just got a pic of me kissing the floor in front of a building hoping it was the right one (pic will be posted soon)! The girlfriend really thought i'd lost the plot when she saw it but i explained to her the fact she'd never undestand why i did it, she looked at me and said "You really are strange"...

My first visit to the US was fab by the way! And SLO is a really nice place.

Hollywood is a strange place though...

Hey SRMatt,
~
It sounds to me as though You forgot to freshen Your lipstick before your little Peck ... or mention to her that it's Like a Girl thing only different ...

It's all part of the Mars / Venus scenario ... I don't know for sure but I THink it's not fatal ...

She may appear to be feeling awkward at times, but by the sound of it she's not about to hurt herself, as long as You're OK with Her peeking at Herself in the mirror every so often ...

... you asked

many women hold the position that men have "no feelings" ... when men sometimes demonstrate their feelings , they are thought to be "strange" ...
but it's almost universally accepted that any association by men with "woman" type behaviours is ... inappropriate and unacceptable ...
my little diddle was ... playing with words ... a naughty little habit of mine ...
you have my apologies if my little "toot" offended you ...

Uhhhh Ryan, you wouldn't happen to be the author of said book would you? Sounds like to me you've spent considerable time researching the subject. Your girlfriend must be awfully happy with how in touch you are.

Funny you should ask ... some of life's more painful and interesting lessons happen accidently, or perhaps according to some more complex design a bit beyond my reach or understanding ...

truthfully and all kidding aside, I've paid more than my share of dues to learn what I have ... and most days I wish I didn't know what I do in fact know to be true ...

women don't deeply confide in men all that quickly and easily ... and for what they do reveal, they extract serious soul in return !!!

if any woman tells you I'm mistaken about this, she's *Lying* !

lucky 4 me, I can now settle down and get more into music ... but I almost didn't make it this far !

Let's get back to the initial post, as Rayan's responses don't make sense unless you are a psychotherapist. Heck, a psychotherapist may just want to analize his posts.

Stingray Matt---it looks like you had a trip of a lifetime, and thanks for sharing your story about SLO. Hopefully you enjoyed your trip to the fullest.

Slo

It was a trip of a lifetime really. Cruising from LA to SLO in a convertible was just amazing! The scenery was breathtaking.

You have some cool radio stations over there as well, we didn't bother with CD's, we just chilled out to the radio. They even played Pink Floyd on it!!

We met some cool people as well which made the trip even better.

Thank you USA!!

take me back

that sounds like a wonderful trip ...
imagine in Ernie Ball's "prime" when Hollywood was also a car exhaust "muffler" and AM Radio wailed "surf" music ... the stuff that inspired Slinky's ...

If you dug that, you should visit upstate New York. There's a station in Buffalo that plays Floyd at least once an hour. No exaggeration. A former co-worker of mine didn't believe me until I started saying, "This station needs to play more Pink Floyd!" every time it came on. It got annoying, even for me.

In all seriousity, though, I'm glad you enjoyed your visit to the Colonies.
