Just broke out Luke's Santa Mental CD again.

Will listen to it through the end of the year and hoping to turn on a few more musician friends onto it.

Love the Sammy Davis Jr. duet on jingle bells

I've been listening to my copy for the last few days. I really like the unaccompanied "The Christmas Song" at the end.

Hahahhahaha, Keith dug mine out the beginning of the week. Got it in the car for the 45 minute ride. :D

Which is you favorite? I like the Sammy Davis Jr. one as well. :)

Hey Glenn--it changes.
Driving to cali next week and plan on listening to the cd probably 10x. I'll get back to you after the trip with a concrete answer. But the horn arrangements are really fantastic

I play this album every year from right after Thanksgiving until December 31 or so. Just last night, I was digging the last track ("The Christmas Song") and the EMG single coil vibe. It's giving me serious Luke GAS.

I was also digging the solo exchanges between Luke and EVH. What a contrast in styles.

I like them all, but every year I really look forward to 'Broken Heart for Christmas'....such a great riff.

Luke has a knack for writing killer riffs. I've heard him described as 'epic'....and I have to agree. 'Extinction Blues' is another great riff that comes to mind.

For me, this time of year means Luke, TSO and Neil Zaza OSN. I just wish Neil had stuck with the EVH rather than moving on to Carvin. :(
