Part 2 is already there, just below the picture of Steve and Joe. I liked the questions a lot, quite varied and things everyone wonders about from time to time.

Thanks for posting that link! I enjoyed listening to them.

I love both of these guitarists. I saw them on this tour recently and I gotta tell ya I thought Steve's playing was on another level from Joe's. I had never seen him before, but man was he really good!

G3's about flash; not deriding its founders as they're obviously great but it's really a showcase. Like many others I grew up with the standard EVH, Malmsteen, Satriani, Vai et all and then along came Steve.. First time I heard him I knew it was the real deal.

I grew up listening to Steve (have all the Dregs on LP!) and then along came EVH, Satriani, Vai (was never into Yngwie) :)

I listened to the interviews (thanks for the link) and loved the stories they had to tell. Especially loved Satch saying how he would sit in his dressing room while Steve played the opening set and Satch would try and "keep up" with Morse playing John Deere Letter - that was a great story!

Two absolutely amazing human beings all the way around. So down to earth and pleasant to listen to both their music as well as their annecdotes. I can listen to these guys all day long. I'm just upset that I missed this current concert in my city. They are truly my two main inspirations next to Andy Timmons...another amazing humble guy and brilliant musician.

Yeah it's funny how influences etc work, maybe it has to do with how we process styles etc. I remember for a long time I was convinced EVH was the bees knees, and he still is one of the all time greats in that you can always recognise his playing. Morse also has that tone, style and technique that's unique and the one thing that captured my imagination is the staccato clarity of each note no matter how fast he plays.

Agree, I too can listen to their opinions all day long, great insight. I especially like the questions about DAWs and barriers they had to overcome, things that can't play etc, it shows they're human beings like all of us. They had to work hard the same way..
