I'd like to take a moment to say hi and share some thoughts.Hopefully someone at cusumer support will read as well.I also hope I can help somehow in making this board more interesting.I own a sillhouette special, and a sterling bass.I must say the quality is as good as guitars costing $1000 more. Both have birdseye figuring on the wonderful wax finished necks.Back when I worked for Curbow stringed instruments we used something similar called 'deft'.Customer support has been excelent as well,Thanx to Dennis and all at ernie ball.I could go on and on about what I like about these guitars, but it would be easier to point out two things I would like to suggest:---that the neck could be slightly wider at the nut[I'm constantly running the E string of the edge]-----aaand-----that you would put the axis p'ups in the sillhouettes,...I found the 'custom wound'Dimarios in mine to be not to my liking, went with some Lawrences. But that's it really, the best two instrument choices I've made in my life,I could't have made anything any better with my experieance as a luithier.[couldn't have really done it much cheaper, either.]Peace an' luv,Ebb.
