jes it was painted by a famous biker painter...I have the stallion proto here in my hot hands...will be bringing it to Mesa Az and then we fly out right afoter the show to SLO and spend the night there and work all day on it and then back to the next gig.....

Thanks for the update BP !!!! Glad to get some news about the development of the Stallion !! But i'm wondering about the JPXII, is it already finish ?? Can we get some clue ?? :D

(sorry if my excitement for those guitar is too high but....JP's guitars are too awesome :D !!!)

Dang. That is a killer paint job. Check out the action on that sucker. Pictures can be deceiving but it looks indcredibly low.

Nothing to feel foolish about Devin. I could see how with that green paint in the middle, and the outer part of the guitar being black it may have appeared to look different from where you were.

Its not that bad of a wait I just played it for a half an hour with my little dv mark amp....its pretty good....heheheje

I suspect that the incredible sustain has more to do with the fact that the guitar is a Ball Family Reserve.

My BFR Axis has loads more sustain than her normal Axis siblings. I am not kidding - the difference is very obvious.

The difference could be due to the mahogany tone block.
