Well here it is my AL SSS in Trans Red (as promised). What a dream to play. Now I need that AL HH model to complete my set. So, without further adieu... say hello to my little friend:

Very nice indeed. I love the transparent kind of finishes that show the wood grain effect as well as colour.
Only seemed to see it on the Morse blueburst few years back but glad to see it is popular on ALs too.

Should keep you quiet for a few days with yr new toy

Cheers

wow what a beauty! :)

Just out of curiousity, were you able to track that down from a dealer in Sask or did you have to find one from out of Province? I only ask because I've never seen one for sale here in MB.....(which I've always found strange since they seem to sell every other model of MM guitar).

I found this little beauty by calling dealers all over Canada. The guitar hails from the Oshawa. The story behind this guitar, is that they had this left over just hanging on a peg after a MM rep had good ol' Albert come by for a session. I guess I just got lucky. Although I was quite persistent in my pursuit. Props to Cheryl in Oshawa for helping me out. Anyway, I was informed the AL SSS was in their system since Oct 2009. She plays great, right outa the hard case. Love the silent circuit.
