They do sound really good. And I always love reading the ridiculous comments on videos such as these...and Ed's great replies.

They look and sound like great basses.

Hopefully, they won't take too much of a dent in the US (EBMM) market. Or maybe they'll pick up the slack where people wanted them but couldn't afford them before (and forced them to buy something else). You can't argue with more buying options!

Great video Ed, thanks. And more fine instruments from EBMM. What a great move, now the people that could'nt afford the US models, can now own an EBMM.

Wow. They really sound phantastic. My guess would be that the black Ray34 will be seen a lot in young rock bands...

BTW, I love how you groove, Ed.

Great reviews Ed!! I have watched quite a few of your online reviews, and you really can make anything sound fantastic!! And so far everything I have heard on those Sterling series, they are pretty well made... right over around where the LL skylines are I think.

I am about to buy one of your books, just to fill in the cracks of my technique for slap'n. You know how to funk it!!!! :) Amazing.

They do sound pretty good to be fair, the only thing I can see is that in over here in the EU/UK the price is goona be £600 to £725, now if you search the old fleabay, a second hand Ray with a hardcase can be found for a little bit more, whilst there is the lore of a new bass I accept, there is also the case of having the real deal. But more power to EBMM for this hope it works out well.

After playing on the the Ray34, I would consider it to be a "Real" EBMM bass and would have no issue getting it or recommending it as a primary instrument. The Ray34 felt and sounded just like a SR4H, to me.

With a used one (I own one), you never know what the previous owner, or the current middle person, may have done to it. In my case it had a Hipshot Drop D tuner which I replaced with an original string tuner I ordered from EBMM. My SR4 is an awesome bass and the Ray34 is, IMO, an equally capable instrument. Plus you get the warranty with the Ray34.

Just my $0.02
