So, I waltz into the GC here near my office at lunch today. Wondering if the SUB series has hit the store yet. Sure enough.....wait...what's that......a TRANS PURPLE AX40??? What??? Actually the color looked more like a cross between Pink and Purple. NOT the nice dark Purple we see on the Axis.
Honest to G it was a Trans Purple AX40 on the wall. And, next to it was a SUB AX3 in what looked like a black finish. It sure wasn't Red or Blue. Neither color is on the SBMM site. Wow!
I tried out the SUB Silo3 and I LOVE the asymetrical neck. More comfortable than my Silo30 neck. What a guitar for the price point! Amazing.
And, I tried the AX3 after playing the above-mentioned AX40 and the necks felt almost exactly the same. Some guitar fun at lunch today
