I have an opportunity to audition coming up next week and I have been needing a bass I can take to some tougher parts of Miami - not my 25th Anniversary!!!

Over the weekend I got a 15% coupon card for 'Black Friday' from a large national music store that will remain unnamed but is well known by all and with whom I have had less then positive dealings in the past. :(

On Monday I emailed Bass Central about it, and I will not go into the whole story about being saved from a huge amount of frustration and anger by Beaver over at Bass Central, who gave me some things to double check on. Suffice to say I would have been PO-ed without double checking.

Well, in the end, by Tuesday, working with Beaver, Grasshopper and David, I got a GREAT deal at Bass Central on the Ray34. They even went so far as to make sure that it got out to me yesterday, even though it was late in the day, so I would not have to wait until after Thanksgiving! I got it this afternoon at around 2pm!

I was willing to wait but they made sure I got is quickly. That is the type of service that Bass Central always puts out! I am going no where else ever again!

Well, here is my new baby. We have not named her yet. There is a great debate going on between my wife and I on a name :p

This bass plays so well it is incredible! Is it a Stingray? No, but close enough that it does not matter to me, it gets the job done!!! :)

EBMM/SBMM - awesome work on this instrument line!

I am a happy bass playing Antman :D

I am still so ridiculously happy with my Ray34ca that I have to stop myself from posting about it all the time.

I swear this is true.

So: good work!

I bought a new Ray34ca in 3 tone sunburst for my son for Christmas 2 weeks ago. He's been drooling over one ever since he saw one during the summer, but he's gotta wait until the morning of Dec 25th before he knows that he finally got one.

I know that he'll be ridiculously happy with it just like Jack.

Thanks all :)

I've been playing with my new treasure and loving the feel and tones on this baby! It is as Stingray as you can get!!!

I've been using my headphones so as to not bug the neighbors (we live in a condo - yikes!) so, last night my wife was like, "hey, I haven't heard what it sounds like" so I give her the headphones. Needless to say she was impressed. She said that it had "a nice growl" and "the tone was very clear." Yeah, she speaks the lingo - I am a blessed man. :D

I definitely recommend getting one to anyone looking for a backup or even a primary bass with that Stingray look, feel and tone.

These Sterling by Musicman basses just arrived at my dealer's store and I'm pretty impressed, ...looks like Musicman, ...sonds like Musicman too, ...price is almost 3 times less than Musicman!

Anyway, ...lots of bass for less money! :)

Very nice! Congratulations! Bass Central is the only place I will ever buy my Music Man basses from due to how they have treated me. I might make an exception to that rule if Guitar Center had a Music Man that was exclusive to only them and I fell in love with said bass they had but Beaver and co. have always treated me awesome so I really have no reason to look elsewhere.
