"two identical hydrometer readings at 24 hours apart before deciding that the fermentation has finished. To not do so may increase the risk of exploding beer bottles."

have you been in a garage of exploding beer bottles...you get out quick...they make fun noises... but then you have to clean up the mess. and well 200 bottles and their contents just went bye byes.... the cute lil MG B aint looking too good either.

Classic sign of either too much corn sugar added when bottling, or the original fermentation was incomplete at the time of bottling.

Steve-o, just made my reservations at the Days Inn. Marshia was most helpful.

I got double beds in case anybody is looking for a place to crash.

Tiffles,

if you wanna take the train, the only option is Amtrak:

http://www.amtrak.com

Looks like you can't get from Phoenix to Dallas but you can get to Dallas from Tucson which is only a 1.5 hour drive from Phoenix.

Looks to be $98US.

Not sure I'd recommend it. Never done it personally but have heard many horror stories. They are seriously underfunded.
