Ok, I just hung up the phone from talking with Tim Bogert which in and of itself is cool but he's agreed to be part of SOBII!! Kinda like that time I heard a British woman's voice on the other end of the phone asking me if I'd please hold for Jack Bruce or something....LOL...I love this "job".

You guys are not gonna want to miss this one!!!

Trying to keep up with Chris Squire on a Ferrington with Acousticores on it is not easy.

Get that Bongo out from underneath the bed.

There's no way BP is going to let me get away with being the lone representative of the company he's worked so hard to build. I could take it down in one short weekend.

Right? I DON'T WANT TO BE ALONE.

Oh my Bongo will be there for sure Jackson as well as my 30th Anniversary Ray which will be done by then and I'm also trying to decide on which black '06 Limited Editon we have on order's going to be mine as well....I'm leaning towards a Sterling but maybe not.

I'm gonna set you up right next to Dale's booth too just to drive ya kooky.

I wish there were an easy way for me to get some of my basses there, but if we have one or two representative models, we'll be fine.

I don't mind at all being next to Dale. Just remind him that I am still licensed in AZ to carry.

Anyway, I'm looking at that list, too. Some really interesting basses. HELP.

Sorry I can't help you...I'm torn myself, not a bad pick in the bunch and I really want to keep all 15...think of that collection a few years down the road...one of every bass model in every possible pickup configuration in the limited edition color of the year.

Damn...I really do need to be rich.

Oh no...I plane, but if we have one or two representative models, we'll be fine.

There'll be more than one or two EBMM's there Jackson...as a matter of fact I was just thinking I should let you loose on a special batch of say 5 or 6 basses to order specifically for your School of Bass booth.

Whatchya think??? Just come up with some different configurations and combinations like you did for the NAMM Single Hum order.

And we let the School of Bass boys play 'em? Lord, they'll never survive the weekend. Like loaning Ray one of my Bongos.........heh heh. Hi, Ray!

Let me think about what is least likely to survive a weekend with that kind of clientele. Definitely a single H Bongo.....but the possibilities are interesting, don't you think?

Man, I really love these basses. We're lucky mofos.

That's the beauty of EBMM instruments Jack...stick one in somebody's hand and most of the time you'll need a crowbar to get it back from them...just mix it up with some different stuff out of the whatever kajillion possible number of combinations is and call em in for late September/early October delivery out here. Any "dart" will "stick" with an EBMM...that simple. Did I tell you that there will be well over 100 bass fanatics passing through SOB over 3.5 days and that I'm still working on that beer company sponsorship? Piece of cake my brother and a good time.

<---jots note to self to buy Jack a bunch of high quality stands, a telescoping squegee, some official "order pads" and bug BP for a nice table sized banner or a "Luke" standee or something..

Space is very limited for the "Nudie Bar Field Trip" so reserve early. (Additional "charges" may apply!)
