I'll get him one...that was his ho-bag squire or something...he's mostly a Les Paul/Marshall dude that will rip your face off and pretty much a legend on Sunset.

Good dude who when I first met him it was like one of those dejavu things I had the second I met Luke in SLO...an odd sense of "familiarity".

Hey everyone! Just signed up so I could post my welcome to SOBII message. Glad to see so much interest in the event, it's looking better than ever. You know we've got Billy Sheehan and Tim Bogert onboard as well as Mel Brown. We'll also have Lynne Davis and Ray Riendeau back for teachers, (me too). Dude has totally kicked ass lining up sponsors and getting everything all set, he rawks!

So, I hope you'll all come down to SOBII, it's going to be fun, and very educational!

Phatty,

I told Jack the other night to order up some basses for the event....whatever he wants...something different. I'll make sure he orders up a Sterling but if you want something specific PM Jack so he makes sure to order up what you want.

i think i wanna go to this thingy. hanging with steve would be dope and then there's gonna be basses and maybe jack and billy sheehan? ummm, i should definately go to this thing.

Ya man, zip on over (down). It's going to be a good hang, jam packed and intimate deal. Space is limited to about 75 participants. It's going to be the best education during the days, gear and nightly concerts/jams (with beer).

Ed Friedland, cowpoke extraordinaire!

Good to see you around, Eddie. For those of you who don't know Ed, I can only say that you're not reading the bass magazines lately.

And I really like the height at which Ed plays his basses, so there.

This is going to be fun AND educational. Personally, I need both.

Hey Ed,

Thanks for popping in! I want to say how great it's been working with you on this. I have to say that helping you an Michael Menduno produce this event again has been great (ad deadline's and contracts and all...)!

The first ad in Bass Guitar Magazine hit the stands today...was too tight a deadline this month to get EBMM listed as a sponsor but the EBMM "heart" logo will be in the next one all all others after.

Not sure I can swing the bread for a full-course. If I were to attend for a day, what would be the best day to do so?

Chuck, definitely gonna make it up for a day, in the least to hang with you and Steve and any other bored members who make it out. Is Jack comin' to AZ for this?

Rumor is that I'll be there, representing EBMM and the gang.

I can't imagine Sterling would let this happen without some official SLO human attending, and I myself have intimated what a bad idea it is to have me represent EBMM...but you never know.

This could be fun, really.
