So, I had my attention drawn to the Scion XB here at the board. The owner of our company has me, and the other Fire Alarm Inspectors driving around in Ford Rangers, and he's getting killed on the gas bill. So I go into my bosses office and suggest the Scion XB as an alternative. He checks it out and sells the idea to the owner. So the owner orders one in pearl white for me, and it's a 6 to 8 week wait for one.

So what's the deal anyway? Both Scions and EBMM are made in California, both have ties to each other, and both have signifigant waits from order to delivery. Coincidence? :D

I personally HATE Scion cars. Well at least the way they look. I think they look like freakin refrigerators on wheels. Maybe they are good quality, but looks are important too. This is where EBMM guitars are much better. They are perfect quality and they ALL look beautiful. Well, the Benji guitar seems a little plain to me, but the shape is still very Silo cool :D ;) . Just had to get my opinion out there about these ugly ass cars  .

over here, the xb IS a good looking car! arf! some of these things they sell in japan are halariously ugly. one of the guys I play music with here has one and I have to say that ugly as it may look, you can fit a LOT of stuff in it... I've strongly thought about getting one when we move back... even though you can actually buy much more attractive cars in the states.

I think the xA has better rated mileage than the xB. Plus it's a little more "normal" looking if the xB styling doesn't float your boat. I think it's slightly smaller on the inside (at least on paper, might not be noticeable in person).

My dad has an xB and he's quite happy with it. I've only ridden in it, and it's got a lot of interior space. Seriously, I was more comfortable in the back seat of this thing than in many SUVs. Horsepower rating is in the low-100s; it'll cruise down the highway no problem, but passing requires careful planning.

Also, Scion = Toyota, so you at least know it's a quality vehicle.

we use these as our company onsite vehicles.

I've had one up to 95 when running behind to get to a location outside of Phoenix, and me (as always) running behind.

good cars... :)
