Seafoam Green Stingray with glossy birdeye neck

For whomever may be interested. GC on LBJ in Dallas just received a new StingRay Classic, seafoam green, birdeye neck and glossy neck/headstock. They received it within the last week. As of late yesterday afternoon it was in factory fresh condition. They also have the StingRay Classic in seafoam green with the standard maple neck.

I was in there again at lunch yesterday and the bass was gone. I didn't expect it to last long. I guess it had already shipped. Tell your friend that it was absolutely gorgeous and flawless when I saw it Monday night. The birdseye maple neck was striking! And the gloss really brought it out, expecially on the fretboard. They had only had it a day or too. It was also kept in their higher-end bass room.

I considered it as an option to the SLO Special I bought, but the neck is just a little too much for my hands. And I prefer the waxed neck over the glossy neck. And now the "real" reason....it was too much for my budget! I just said the other stuff to make me feel better.

So you are the guys who snagged my bass! I had just talked with them and the day before and needed a day to think about it. But when I called them back it was gone. Oh well you snooze you lose. I did find and buy another verison of it just like the one you got from the G.C. in Manhattan. I am going down tomorrow to pick it up. Can't wait. Enjoy the bass.
