Search for Sound -- How do you set your preamp controls?

I still love all my knobs on my sterling switched all the way up.... it just makes that baby rumble.... if I pluck heavily enough almost negates the need for a distortion or overdrive... but can still get a sweet but in your face tone when playing lightly.. but on reading this I may mess with a few other settings...
