Haven't posted here in a while. I come every now and again to read the posts. Sorry for your loss. Everyone should have one of these... Foscam FI9831P Plug and Play 960P. Takes about 5 minutes to setup and you can have it email photos. As soon as someone comes into your apartment bam you got a photo on your phone. Anyways, sorry again, but that feeling of violation is painful and this may give you some peace if anything happens again.

having gone though this recently (as i've shared on the forum) it sucks...

I had a custom one off tele stolen from a friends car who borrowed it the night before. Im still sick at my stomach over it and its been well over a month since she got stolen so i'm familiar with the frustration and anger that arises from such events. Thieves are the boils on the arse of humanity and bid them a very warm welcome in the deepest parts of he.... well you get the jest of it.

We'll keep our eyes peeled in hopes that they show up - they're like our children and hate to see them not at home where they're safe. Be careful not to get too depressed - i found myself pretty bummed when my guitar was stolen. Hang in there and hope they show up

I was burgled several years ago - they made off with numerous firearms (AR15 rifles, high-end 1911 pistols) - after spending more than an hour breaking into an 800 pound gun safe, so they were well secured.

In that case the police WERE ALL OVER THIS since it wasn't just a regular burglary, but because it put guns on the street. They put word out through their moles to "do some purchasing QUICK" to get the firearms while still local (before they made it to Chicago). Anyways, they wrapped up the whole bunch (burglars and fencers) in about two days time.

So, moral of the story: put a gun in your guitar case and the police will be "Johnny on the spot"! :D

Ah thanks for the tip! Not sure if it's for me but I can see why it'd spur the police on...

Still not heard back from the police report. Fingers crossed.
