Just wait until we get to the Luke Photo session. Guys we have sooooo much fun at the Shows. The other companies play it really straight and we go for it. The Year with Cosell
and the cheerleaders was hysterical. by the end of the third day they had Biff Baby and Big Poppa cheers and I would alternate between tackling the mascot,(poor ryan) I never once tackled him when he was looking. and dancing ;with them in the middle of the booth and I would do summersaults on the barely padded concrete floors.

We had a radio controlled blimp that got away and crashed into the Peavey booth . THey got their nickers all jammed up and bitched to NAMM. The problem is that I was on the NAMM board and am friends with the guys who run the shows sand they just laughed.

the two best quotes were these:

GEEZ Uncle Sterling you are in a lot better shape than I thought, you did Fifteen running summersaults yesterday" Evan Ball after his first show

"It's a bitch being me" Big Poppa remarking to the Fun Girl as he limps into the shower. I was covered in bruises by the end of the show.

That last swordfight photo is a classic alltime NAMm moment.

The guy I swordfighting with is Joe Lamond the CEO of NAMM. He suprised me at the close of the show on Sat . He spent over an hour with our makeup guys and we had a full on fiht. I wrestled him to the ground on for him to whisper"I was an all american wrestler in collige", " YOu can give up or Im gonna hurt you". IT was such a great thing for Joe to do. It really let us know that they get the joke and appreciate the effort and creativity the team at eb put into thesze shows.

NEver in the history of namm has the CEO done anything remotely like this.

I'm slowly learning why I love my EBMM so much, I couldn’t figure it out at first but it had something my other basses didn’t… character!

After seeing these photos of the characters involved in the production of these fine instruments I’m beginning to understand.

Keep up the good work… play… craziness’, whatever, it works very well indeed! :D

Every time I get on the phone with BP, my belly hurts afterward. Now that may be because he insists that I eat thumbtacks if I want him to stay on the phone, but I like to believe it's because he keeps me laughing the whole time.

*Urp*

Hey Aunt Luscious, you're on the bass forum!

I declined the invitation...I wound up that night backstage bugging Tony Levin while he was eating a salad....what can I say...I was in the depths of a rum binge.
