Sell out figures

I was just wondering, looking at the forum responses, the favourite pieces from EBMM for the markets seem to be the Axis and JP6 models. I wonder in terms of unofficial numbers (cos I understand if EBMM want to keep this confidential), which are the best selling models, and in which order.

Anyone?

I think you hit the nail on the head. JP followed by the Axis line.

I dunno, I suspect AL's and Lukes will be in equally high demand, if you look at the used market - there's very little of both of those, indicating that those which are purchased stay with an owner........

Interesting thread though, there's a bunch of great things about this company, I guess this is one of them, It's not just the wait that's the cool part, there's the anticipation, torture days, (I miss them!) and the mystery.

I've wondered the same thing...it seems like most of the conversation on the forums are centered around the JP and the Luke....I love the axis guitars, but honestly that's all I've ever tried.

Maybe one of the customer support folks could give us some numbers....???

We are privately held (by me) and do not disclose sales figures except in very rare cases.
THe Luke is a big seller too........

Interesting thread though, there's a bunch of great things about this company, I guess this is one of them, It's not just the wait that's the cool part, there's the anticipation, torture days, (I miss them!) and the mystery.

This reminds me of the time I bought an Alfa Romeo... The wait nearly killed me. But the minute I started the engine she she arrived, all was forgiven... She protected me from a very bad crash... Till this day, I still miss my bella...

Same thing for EBMM Silhouette guitars. I've ALWAYS wanted one the first time I ever saw one. The easy truss rod adjustment, premium woods and cut, improved hardware, 24 frets, 5 screw neck plate etc etc. It was the quintissential superstrat, yet retained the traditional vibe. There was (and is today) no better designed, more complete bolt-on guitar in the market. Marry that with the new selstions with piezos, and this is truely the best concept in the market.

This was (I think) definately something Leo Fender and his team had envisioned when they started creating the strat in 1954, but never managed to do. That's why I say now, and will always maintained that the Silhouette really is the best concept on a bolt-on guitar brought to life. (Thank you BP!!!!)

Of course, certain things about the tuners being a 4-2 alignment rather than 6 in-line strayed away from the original "strat" concept, but it's a minor thing, and I think it looks better this way.

But what is really amazing, is that the Silhouette is the ONLY 24 fret maple necked bolt-on guitar in the market today. I wonder why other brands no longer produce this...

So, in all points, getting this guitar is like my end-all-be-all of guitars which is a culmanation of all the guitars I've owned, and piecing together evrything I've always wanted without having to go custom. There's always something about finding a perfect off-the-shelf product which I find so valuable... The wait, like my Alfa Romeo, will be worth it.
