Has anyone here ever sold a Luke and later regretted it or at least almost wish it hadn't been parted with? 'Fess up! Say why you sold it and then why you wish you hadn't.

This was my Luke:

This was my very first EBMM, a beautifully made and wonderful sounding guitar, and definitely the one I most regret parting with. I'd have it today if it didn't have a neck singularly incompatible with the Jem necks I was playing regularly when I owned it... I have LARGE hands, and switching between the Jems and the Luke would actually have my hands cramping up! So, thinking at the time that I'd always be playing Jems, I sold it off... Three years later, I was falling in love with an Axis, and my Jem collection was being sold off to support a new EBMM habit. I really want another Luke now, but it's not in the cards (or the budget) for a couple years, anyway... :(

Live and learn...

thats pearl blue fogman, same color as the silo special that I hade you post a pic of for me, its a nice dark blue with a glistle.....

i love tellin' this story........

i bought my axis in a pawnshop fo' cheap......swore i'd never sell it........til some feller offered me double what i paid for it...........talk about remorse.........i got lucky, when he posted on HC to sell it for $150 less than he paid me for it. i bought it back. it had some extra bumps and finish cracks........but , "i got it back"...........and that's what matters. :)

That's funny.
You're a lucky one.
