In order to fund the new Nighthawk I'm buying I, must sell my Axis. Don't worry I'll be back...hopefully I don't regret it. It has a one-piece swamp ash body (trans purple), hardtail bridge, rosewood/flame maple board with matching headstock, and of course the original locking tuners. It is stung up with DiAdarrio 11s that still have lots of life left in them. They've been played for maybe four or five hours time total. Two MM-90s (same as P-90s), three position switching, one volume, one tone knob. It also has the EB "silent circuit", which eliminates virtually all single coil noise and allows you to put as much gain as you desire on these things. It does not degrade tone AT ALL either. I'm sure you guys know all about it. No scratches on the front, no buckle rash on the back. There are two small scratches on the back, but are not deep or really that noticeable except if you hold it on an angle in the light. I would rate this guitar as in very good to exellent condition. Not completely mint, but very little wear. I've also got a non-original hardcase I got with the guitar. The guitar fits very well, and the case itself is almost new looking. Neither have been giged with or really even left my house since I got it. I have it posted elsewhere for more, but for anyone here all I want is $500 + shipping, and I won't upcharge. I will send it what ever carrier you want, my zip is 60187. I don't have pics of the case right now, but here is what I took a couple of months ago.

Yes, a Gibson Nighthawk. I've got a Blueshawk and I just love the feel of the body and neck.

Now Raz, just 'cause you like to live dangerously doesn't mean we all do... You well know that I'm on a spousally-imposed, one year gear buying sabatical, and I'm not stupid enough to challenge She Who Must Be Obeyed on this one, even for a deal as sweet as this...

bummer :(

**Bump**

Sorry, I can't lower the price anymore than it already is. This thing is in exellent condition, I would say NEAR MINT. NO FRET WEAR! Anyone? I may be willing to part it out...
