it is probably for the best. I really do love my EVHs, i would have missed them dearly!

i had a 1969 GTO 3 yrs ago. that damm car ate me out of house and home. old cars are not cheap to keep up. i had $3000 racked up in repair bills, so i sold it.

that's the nice thing about guitars...no oil changes, no tune ups, no bald tires to replace, no seats to rip, no transmissions to burn up...ect.

when you think about it, guitar is a somewhat inexpensive hobby, compared to some.

You know - I had been avoiding this thread since I read it the first day. I thought that the continuing posts would be about which ones had sold and which ones were still for sale, etc....

I am SO glad that is not what happened! :)

Let me tell you a story - I once had two absolutley gorgeous EVHs - an amber and a gorgeous gorgeous blue one. I sold them both at a time when I thought I needed money for something else. Turns out, I would have been okay not selling but I panicked and they were gone. I will always regret selling them. Always. :(

Keep those guitars Brent. You cannot view them as liquid assetts (sp?). Start to think of them as something that cannot be traded or sold. You will be happier in the long run - trust me! ;)

You just wanted to tease us ;) Right?

And we need a pic of the car man. Can´t believe you would sell your EVHs for a car.
So we need to see the car

That Goat is sweet, so isn't the 442. These muscle car prices are way out of control, my dreams of a 1968 Chevelle SS w/ 396 hardtop are out the window.
