I am not at work until Monday, so unless Derek sees this, bump it on Monday, or DWF will remind me to check it for you

Thanks so much. Being a '92 would this be one of the changeable pickguard models? Also would it have the "raw" neck or be one of the lightly finished necks?

Thanks
Simon

Yes. During this era of Music Man we made available the molex connector to change pickup assemblies. Also during this period we utilized a conversion varnish method or "Velvet " to finish the neck. The Oil and Wax method was implemented a couple of years later.

From an earlier thread:

The "satin" finish was a conversion varnish which we called a"velvet finish".

Neck finish Timeline :Lacquered Neck 80's -"Velvet Finish" early 90's oil and wax -approx 93 till present.

For Blueburst we most likely used ash for the body. The tremelo system was our MM Floyd Rose with locking nut which was discontinued on this model in the late 90's.
