Hello, I am buying this guitar and need to know when it was made and if it is indeed a "premium top" guitar

It is indeed an upgraded top, built on 7/22/03 Tomorrow is its birthday!!!! Buy it something nice, like a new set of EB strings!

Interesting. I checked with the dealer and this one has the standard neck plate even though it's an upgraded top. Form what I have been reading, the premium top models have the special neck plate right? What gives?

When we first started doing the upgraded tops we didn't have the custom maded neckplates for the lefty's.

Turns out the guitar does have the special neckplate. It was covered up by a UPC sticker. My new baby will ship today. Woo hoo!
