I've had a good look through the serial number database, but I have have been unable to find info about my Stingray so I'm hoping that the forum experts can point me in the right direction.
I know that my Stingray dates from 1978/1979, but the six digit serial number has no prefix, with the first four digits being simply 1978**.
Primarily, I'd like to know if the bass is a pre-EB model, but any additional info would be great.
