Hi Everyone,
I know that I am not supposed to post this here but for the last two days the dedicated Serial Number thread will not open for me and I really need the DOB information on an Axis that I may buy. The serial number is G34692. Thanks so much!

Hi Beej,
I haven't been able to access the Serial # thread for the last two days. I keep getting a HTTP 500 Internal Server Error message each time I try to access it. I accidently posted a second message regarding the serial # because I am very, very new (9 total posts) to the EBMM family and I thought I had not logged in when I posted this particular thread. What I did not expect was to be belittled by one of your senior members named "fingbeagles" in my second thread. This has put a bad taste in my mouth and do not understand or appreciate his response in that thread. I thought that the EBMM forum would be a bit more welcoming and patient to newbies. If Fingbeagles is a representative of EBMM, then maybe I will cancel my account. Being that you are a moderator, you may want to check the other thread out. It really sounds silly pon the surface but I was so excited to open the thread on my potentially new Axis only to be unwelcomed by someone with a demeaning attitude. It almost ruins it for me.

Hey Man, first off welcome to the Forum... sorry you felt that way early on. Fing is a cool guy and if you stick around long enough maybe you can buy some really cool used stuff from him. (no joke, he buys and sells a lot of EBMM guitars) I think the thing that you may be missing out on is that SO MANY newbies sign up and post a Serial # thread with out ever looking to see if there was one. (which we know wasn't the case with you) It gets to a point where once you have been here a while you may get a little irritated every time they see one... stick around, you'll see.

As for being a newbie I have only a few words of advice... Have fun, don't get down or mad when you get called out for doing or saying something stupid (it only a matter of time and also its almost like a right of passage around here), DON'T PM BP (or add him to your Facebook) and if you don't have a PIC of your Balls (and by Balls I mean your MusicMan Guitar) it doesn't exist.

PS. Did I mention, Don't PM BP???

KLOWN-
Welcome aboard.... let me add in don't PM BP...
that being said pull up a chair and enjoy the forum we are all crazy about EBMM and over time you will find FING a great guy... and i have bought a guitar off him and he is a classy guy and i'm not easy to impress. If you're looking at picking up an AXIS i would go for it... you won't be happier with any other choice.

anyway- welcome hope you stick around and did i mention don't PM Big Papa!

Wow, I wake up to this LOL. Well let m step in before it gets out of control.

First, I do not work for EBMM, just one of the many fourm members from around the world who is a EBMM fanatic.

Next, sorry you took my post wrong, was not meant to be demeaning or belittle you in any way, was not my intention, I am not a member here to be confrontational, but to revel in the splendor of all things EBMM.

My post was just to point out duplicte threads and preach a little patience.
So again sorry that you took it the wrong way, now one thing that came to mind are you referring to the actual product registration link on the musciman.com website? If so thats a different website than the fourm, but I checked and that link works for me.

Anyways hope you get your axis and information, stick around OK.

klownhere- welcome to the forum. One thing you'll find here is everybody kids around a lot. So good advice is to not take anything too seriously. Thick skin goes a long way to making friends.

OK ... I've removed the other thread and let's see if we can get to the bottom of the problem. I'm going to send you a private message ("PM"). If we can't sort it out I'll ask the tech guys to look into what's going on.

Thanks so much, Beej! It is really strange but I can access everything thing else in the forums except for the Serial # thread. I appreciate your response.:)

Hi fingbeagles,
I certainly appreciate your response and now I understand that you did not mean anything derogatory towards me. Sometimes things get lost in translation with the written or typed word. I would like to offer a handshake and a pat on the back! On a side note, I decided to purchase the Axis and I am completely in love with it! The neck is just perfect for me and I am now looking for another one to complement it! Thanks for being a man and clearing up our misunderstanding.

May I suggest a 2HB AL??? Same pickups, Mahogany body and all rosewood neck... just getting used to mine, but I can already tell it is going to fit in real well with the Axis.

PS. And you are granted membership to the ALOC once you make the purchase! haha
