Hey Blind Lemon, and JimmyB

to answer both your questions...YES! :D

This guitar, when I got it, was filthy and the black scratchplate was covered in a big blob of very sticky residue from one of those doublesided sticky foam pads (why????). Anyway after several hours of dissassembly, cleaning, restringing, and setting up, we have a true diamond of a guitar in mint shape. Simpler and more retro in looks than my other Musicman guitars, I'm loving its vintagey vibe.

Here it is in all its new cleaner glory:

It's a Mystic Dream fully loaded JP6! Or at least it should be and arrive at my door in a week or so ;)
funny serial#: G34342

I wanna know EVERYTHING about her :D

OK - she started out as a knee-high to a grasshopper basswood tree ... no seriously - This beauty was completed on 01/11/07 and was sent to Guitar Emporium in Louisville, Kentucky .. possibly the coolest store on the planet!

Father Dan,

forgive me for I have sin again

G38241 ASS hardtail Piezo with a wonderful flame top

Please confirm the color as I have a doubt between Tobacco Burst or Honey Burst

I know this guitar was given to one of the winner of Battle of Band that did not enjoy it, so it's an honour to have it back to the ball Family ;)

Boy, your sins are forgiven! Your new Axis SuperSport has a Honeyburst finish! Nice find and congratulations on getting it! You are correct about the Battle of the Bands winner, thank you for giving her a good home!

Steve, what a find! Your hardtail SSS Axis Sport with a solid maple neck in Translucent Gold finish was completed on July 17 1997 and was originally shipped to the U.K. via our esteemed U.K. distributor Strings & Things Limited.

Sweet! :)

Hey Steve,

That came through us, it was sold to HW Audio in Bolton on March 3rd 1999.
I take it that it's still Gold?

Cheers,
Blind Lemon

Steve, was that the one that was on e-bay recently?

Congratulations, I love my SSS Sport.

Excellent! What a great home it has found now - a tale worth telling!

I will be looking for the Brown truck on Thursday so I can take delivery of a 20th Anniversary Silhouette.

The S/N I was given over the phone was G27408. Can I get the DOB and any other pertinent information on this guitar.

Thanks much,
Dave (DJ)

Thanks Dan!

I'll get back to you again when the EB factory gives birth to my Vintage Sunburst ASS in the next 90 to 120 days :D Thank goodness there is not a 9 month gestation period.

I know you must be sick and tired of looking up serial numbers but if you could possibly find the time can you please let me know the DOBs for my two Silos?

G32706 Vintage Sunburst & G20193 Blue Pearl

Very many thanks from the UK and keep up the good work.

Regards, Charlie :)
