97884 - Silhouette Special, Pearl Green, trem, maple - shipped to GC #116 (Sherman Oaks, CA) on 5/16/96.

Jim, sure, no prob ... that serial number does in fact reference a Translucent Purple EVH, built on 7/15/92 and was originally shipped to American Music in Seattle, WA.

thanks. what pickups is it equipped with? I heard the DiMarzio virtual paf at bridge maybe, but I don't know about the singles. Are they stock DiMarzio PU's or they're not on their catalogue/site?
That's also because I'd like to know what's the optimal distance between the strings and the PU's.

Yes, the bridge pickup is a DiMarzio Vitual PAF, and the singles are custom-wound DiMarzios. As far as the factory string heights (measured from the top of the plastic pickup cover to the bottom of the string):

Bridge 4/32” or 3.175mm
Middle 5/32” or 3.96875mm
Neck 6/32” or 4.7625mm
