Serial Numbers : What is the production date of my guitar?

I have a white Ernie Ball Music Man Luke with serial number G66118, can anyone let me know how old the guitar is? Thanks!

This Luke was completed on September 27th, 2012. The color is White Pearl with the Rosewood fretboard.

It looks like G06124 right? It's definitely a Silo and looks original.

Yea definitely looks like G06124. I double checked and it's still coming up as an Axis Sport. It could be possible that the neck plate was swapped at one point or the serial number was inputed into the database incorrectly.

you wrote that according to your database my Steve Morse serial nr. 88210 was coming up as an axis..

It is a morse model, an early one with 6 bolts.. serial nr on headstock, i bought it in Sweden from Deluxe music sometime in 1989. Below images

On another note i gave you the wrong serial on my sterling.. correct nr is D06105 could you tell me its production date..

88210 - This is coming up as an Axis. The serial numbers that were on the headstocks were not logged into the database. Some of those same numbers were used on neck plates in the 90s. You could check the neck pocket or neck heel for a date.

D06105 - This Sterling was completed on May 28th, 1997. The color is Pearl Blue with the Maple neck.

G65940 - This Luke 3 HSS was completed on October 5th, 2012. This is from our 2012 Honey Roasted Premier Dealer Network Run and featured the Mahogany body and Pau Ferro fretboard with Mother of Pearl inlays.

G66045 - This Luke 1 was completed on January 15th, 2013. The color is Blue Pearl with the Rosewood fretboard.

This one is not coming up in the database. It may be a pre or early Ernie Ball instrument. The serial number database didn't come around until the late 1980s, so we don't have the production records for those unfortuantely. There may be a date stamp in the neck pocket. There is a good reference website where you can compare to similar serial numbers too, - Serials Pre-EB Sting Ray
