Completed on September 26th, 2007. Pearl Redburst in color, shipped to Musician's Friend originally, DiMarzio D-Sonic in bridge and custom wound DiMarzio in the neck. Nickel frets.

Looking for DOB of my EB Silhouette

I bought my Musicman Silhouette in 1990. The frets were already worn as an assistant in the shop - full of PRSs, Gibsons & Fenders - would sit playing it all day to the exclusion of everything else. He was seriously pissed off when I walked out of the shop with it. I got a couple of hundred quid off as, although technically a new guitar, the finish was covered in hairline cracks. Nobody seemed to know why. Could anyone shed any light on this?

Anyway, it's been on ice for some years as I've been playing mainly piano and acoustic guitar - resonators and an OM style flat top that I built as a student of ace luthier Richard Osborne. But I've now got my Silhouette up and running again and I'm amazed. I love it to bits. I like to swap between those glassy Strat tones for blues and a warm bassy sound for jazz standards. Amazingly versatile and springy under the fingers. You know how some guitars are just somehow sulky? Well, this one is in a permanent good mood...

The serial number is 91098. Can you tell me when it was made please?

This JP6 was completed on January 31st, 2012. The color is Black with the Rosewood fretboard. It was originally shipped to Musik Meyer.

This Silhouette HSH was completed on November 28th, 1990. The color is White with the Maple neck. It was originally shipped to Kanda Shokai. It's difficult to say what may have caused the hairline cracks in the finish.

This Axis Super Sport MM-90 with piezo was completed on February 16th, 2000. The color is Trans Emerald Green with the Rosewood fretboard & matching headstock. It was originally shipped to Drum City Guitarland.

This Silhouette HSS was completed on November 11th, 1992. The color is Sunburst with the Maple neck. The body wood is Ash. It has a Schaller Model 220 PAF Alnico humbucker and Schaller Model 243 Alnico single coils. It was originally shipped to CMC Music.

This JP7 was completed on January 25th, 2007. The color is Pearl Redburst with the Rosewood fretboard. It was originally shipped to Sedes Trading Limited.

JP6 and Majesty Serial numbers

Hey guys,

I've got 2 EBMM John Petrucci guitars that I'd like checked out. I've got a Majesty with the serial M00299 and a JP6 with the serial G13791. The other concern about the JP6 is that the bridge has no MusicMan letters engraved on it.

Could someone assist me with this? The pictures are attached for reference.
