KungFu,

Your guitars' production dates and information:

Albert Lee - Pearl Red, completed 9/20/96 and sent to Guitar Emporium in Louisville, KY.

Steve Morse - Blueburst of course, completed 3/3/93 and sent to Russo's Music in Omaha, NE.

(You may want to edit your signature)

A couple of sweet pieces, I would say! ;)

Music Man Ash Sabre II (A001123) with Sabre - 2EQ & Toggle Switch
(Original Owner purchased from Happy Logan Music, Denver CO)
I heard Eric Clapton play it at Red Rocks and bought it the next day!
P.S. I had to pick between it and a matching fretless 3+1 Bass. OOOOPS!!

Dave,

Beautiful guitar!

Unfortunately we do not have any serial number information on pre-Ernie Ball instruments. The most we can know for sure is that it was built sometime in the late 70's/early 80's, most likely 80-82. There were not a whole lot built, but the exact number we will not ever probably know.

Bazaboy,

Here's the scoop on these cool Music Man guitars:

Serial # G29212 is an Axis SS tremolo with MM90, and it has a rosewood top, ash body, and a solid rosewood neck. Completion date: 7/28/05.

Serial # 95271 is an original Luke with the Floyd Rose tremolo system in Pearl Red. This classic was completed on 2/5/96.

No, my bad - I apparently typed in the wrong number! It is showing instead as a HSS Sunburst Silhouette maple - which is of course what it is - built in 5/13/94.

oops

Dan

Boy, someone sure got a sweet deal on that guitar!

hobo,

This classic Trans Red Silhouette in the HSS configuration has a production date of 2/6/91. We show it as a trem model (it should be a Schaller tremolo) with a rosewood fretboard. It was originally shipped to our distributor in the UK. Is this yours? If so - picture please!
