Komp, sorry about that, didn't mean to overlook you. Unfortunately, your Silhouette information is not showing up in our database. That could be because it may have been one of the earliest ones. As I have recently rediscovered, the early record-keeping of these was sporadic at times. You are certain that is the correct serial number, I'm sure. Do you remember when and where you bought it?

it certainly looks an early one.I got it used only last week from ebay. 89091 is imprinted on the back of the headstock under the G tuner.
I'm changing strings tomorrow so I'll have a look at the neck and pocket for dates & post a pic or two at the same time.

Brent, are you thinking of buying this? This one shows up as a EVH Opaque Gold built on 11/30/93. It was originally shipped to Germany.

There were a less than 30 of these made.

hypo, contrary to any rumors you've heard, it is not hard all to find out -you just need to ask in the right place (this would be it).

Your EVH was completed on 3/2/92 and was shipped to France.
