EBMM Silhouette Special 96313 . "Special" isn't on the heacstock logo, but it sure seems to spec out as a special. Thanks for your info.:D

BN, yeah, for some reason the first few hundred Silhouette Specials did not have the word "Special" on the headstock. But that's what it is - this one has a Pearl Green finish, a Wilkinson trem, Grover locking tuners, an HSS configuration with a white pearloid pickguard and a rosewood neck. Oh yeah and it was built on 5/10/95 - making it one of the first production Specials built.

Also - welcome to the Forum!

Hi all!

I recently bought a Stingray5, I think from the early '90s. It was love at first sight (and try:), and I think that will last forever.:)

So, the serial is: 54057. Can you tell me the exact manufacturing date? Thank you!

Harry,

Really sorry, I must have overlooked your first post. Welcome to the Forum! Your StingRay 5 was built on 11/01/93. Nice!

fbecir, since you're obviously a guitar player helping his bass player out we will make an exception to the guitar/bass thread rule ... ;) anyway his bass was completed on 4/17/06.

Hi!, Could you please give me some details about this SMY2D? I bought it second hand and it´s the best guitar I ever played.

Nothing? I forgot to write that I live in Sweden and bought the guitar here.

Martin

Martin, sorry, did not mean to ignore you, just missed your post! Your Steve Morse Y2D was built on 12/07/05. It was originally shipped to a store in the U.S. called Grand Central Music. nice!

I just got my JP6 from a guitarstore that was on ebay.

Serial number G46475.

Does anyone know if this guitar has the Liquifire pickup combo or the D-sonic version, from my serial number alone? Either way I am totally in love with it.
