Hi Dan,

I just picked up my second EBMM. It's an Albert Lee model. Could you tell me when it was made and where it shipped please? Thanks in advance.

Albert Lee - S/N G37977

Congratulations on your new Albert Lee! Your VSB Albert was completed on 10/25/07 and was shipped to an unidentified artist.

Thanks,

Dan

Hi Dan,

Serial #G04600 -> Transparent Blue Axis from 11/30/98

I asked about this guitar some time ago. Could you please tell me the specs this guitar was originally built with (wood, pickups, etc.)? As well as the retail price and to which Store it went?

Regards
Bastian
Bastion, thanks for asking .... the Axis HH has a basswood body with a bookmatched figured maple top and solid maple neck. The pickups, as far as I can tell, were the same DiMarzio humbuckers we have been using on the EVH/Axis for the past 17 years. It was sent originally to an artist whose identity I cannot disclose.

Hi, my serial is G44425. It is a white HSS silhouette special with rosewood in my hand.

I already have the birthday but can I get info about neck type, rosewood or maple, because I doubt the neck is replaced at store.

Thank you very much.
Hakan, according to our records, the Silhouette Special in question has an alder body and a solid maple neck.

Just bought a used Silhouette from GC in Houston. Serial # G38932.
It is in perfect condition...amazing guitar. They said its been sitting there for over a year!
Can anyone at EBMM give me some info. on this guitar (DOB)?
Thanks,
J
Sure, great find - this Silhouette was built on 2/14/08. The finish is Sapphire black, the body is alder, the neck maple with a rosewood fretboard and a matching headstock. nice ..

HR, Welcome to the Forum. You've jumped into exactly the right place! Your Quilt top Trans Blue Axis SuperSport with a rosewood board was completed on 9/29/05 and was shipped to McCaulay's Music in Cambridge, Ontario.

My JP6's Serials

Mystic Dream JP6 - G20726
Dargie Delight JP6 - G42098

Not sure of their birthdates though - would that be the date they shipped or the dates they were built?

Both ordered through Corner Music in Nashville, TN - the Mystic from my best friend Chris Kontopanos and the second from another close friend Todd Austin (aka Toddzilla) May God continue to bless them!!! :)

Now if I could just order a JP BFR I think I could just lay down and die as my life would then be complete!

Just picked up my first Ernie Ball and Wow ! It's used but seems like new and plays like a dream !

It's a Red Burst JP6 S/N G38876.

I'm wondering when it was built and what pickups are in it cause they really sing....

Greetings and tx for figuring out my half dozen Birth dates for my ever expanding EBMM family.Only one questionable date, and I remember buying this guitar at Steves in Montreal,is 16681..a red axis sport HH.I think I bought it in 01,and you gave me 08..considering the unfortunate plight of the Sport..ie production of this underrated little beauty being terminated well before 08,I think its birthdate must be before that.Everything else has worked out fine..just 2 dogtags to swap!Keeping records is smart...
