Hi 5Stringer! Thanks you so much for your work!!
I'm French, and I'm going to buy a Petrucci JP6!
It's serial number is G35679!
Can you please tell me the DOB and where has it been shipped?
And if you can other specs like color and other things!
Thank you very much!

Abysboy, welcome to the Forum! Your future John Petrucci guitar was completed on 6/20/07 and was shipped to DuBaldo Music Center in Manchester, Connecticut. Our records indicate that it is a "fully-loaded" Pearl Redburst guitar.

hey Dan,

hope you and the family had a great Thanksgiving, and the dogs received some turkey:)

Picked up a little something at GC on Friday #G46590, really suprised at its existence:D

Take Care and Happy Holidays,

Keith

Hey Keith, Happy belated Thanksgiving - yes, the dogs got lots of turkey giblets, they're so spoiled!

Wow, you scored a Hot Rod Red Axis SS rosewood, sweet guitar! Built on 10/14/09.

Something tells me you might receive a little something else very soon - ;)

Yeah, I have heard of them, the heavy metal Christian band. Good guitarist, glad you wound up with his guitar. It was completed on 06/10/03.

guitarace, none of those numbers match up to anything like an Axis Sport as you described, you want to just wait until you get the guitar?

Dan

Lobo, your John Petrucci was built on 2/18/08 and it would have the D-Sonic in the bridge and a custom DiMarzio in thew neck position.

Dan

Thanks Dan !!

I really love this guitar as it occupies it's own sonic space when I'm playing next to guys with LP's and SG's. And the neck is so easy to play. I wish I'd have pulled one off the wall at the local music store sooner !!

This Albert Lee was completed on 6/08/95. Parts should not pose a problem.

Dan

Thanks Dan,

Just curious, what was the difference between an Albert Lee pre June 1996 and after? I've seen pickguards being offered for pre 6/96 and post 6/96.

aloha!

That's weird, there haven't been any changes to the pickguard that I am aware of ... the only changes to that guitar (other than finishes offered) have been the tremolo option being offered in 1996 (which didn't change the pickguard layout), the addition of the Silent Circuit in 2001 along with the MM90 option offered that same year. None of those changed the pickguard layout.

Actually there is one thing - when we originally offered the Al with tremolo, we were using Wilkinsons - that might have taken a slightly different layout - but we made so few of them that way (before switching over the next year to the Music Man trem) I doubt it's ever even come up.

DS, welcome to the Forum! Your John Petrucci 6 was completed on 02/15/06. Everything you mentioned is available for order except the neck plate (which contains the sacred serial number information).

Congrats on your first Music Man guitar!
